OUR BACKGROUND
Molten Iron Partners is run by two individuals looking at the “Next Great Thing”. After running and selling their family business, the two brothers are looking to make a significant investment in time, talent and treasure into a new project. Their previous business was Cast-Fab Technologies- an iron foundry and fabrication facility producing Castings and Fabrications up to 80,000 lbs. in Cincinnati. Cast-Fab produced products for OEM manufacturers, as well as their own branded product in the Banking Security and Water / Waste Water treatment industries. They sold the business in late 2016.
Ross Bushman- Managing Partner
Prior to starting Molten Iron Partners, Ross was the President and CEO of Cast-Fab Technologies. His 22 years in the foundry, fabrication and machining industries has given him an extensive background in manufacturing, sales and operations planning (S&OP), technical sales and dealing with regulatory agencies as part of business operations. Prior to Cast-Fab, Ross was an operations manager at Reading Rock in Cincinnati. He received his MBA from the University of Cincinnati, and a degree in Productions and Operations Management from Miami University.
Lee Bushman- Founder
Prior to starting Molten Iron Partners, Lee was the Vice President of Cast-Fab Technologies. His 16 years in the industry-- managing a 440,000 ft2 facility, with 260 employees and $35 Million in sales, allowed him to utilize his extensive project management skills and green belt certification to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Prior to Cast-Fab, Lee worked with EGC Corporation-subcontracted out to Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati. He received his B.S. in Business Administration / Economics from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
